Panchmurti Restaurant

We are out here on Nagoa Road in Diu, which is quite a nice part of the island. Our restaurant is close to the HDFC Bank and right across from the Jeithibai Bus Station. Being so close to the bus station means we see all kinds of people, from tourists just arriving to locals catching a ride to other parts of the area. The weather in Diu is usually pretty warm, so we spend a lot of time making sure the drinks are cold and the fans are working for everyone. We aren't trying to be anything more than a local eating house where you can get a meal without any fuss. The 362520 zip code is a small area, so we know many of the people who walk by every day. Some of our staff have been with us since we first opened the doors. We open up the shutters in the morning and start the prep work in the kitchen, chopping vegetables and getting the stoves going. It is a straightforward way to live. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that; we just write our daily items on a board and wait for people to come in. The street outside can get a bit hectic when a bus arrives and people pile out, but otherwise, it is a decent place to work. We just focus on the daily chores and making sure the floor is mopped at the end of the shift.
