Shri Khandesh Shetkari Producer Company Limited

Shri Khandesh Shetkari Producer Company Limited is based over in Ner, which is in the Dhule district. We are at Plot Number 9 in Janki Nagar, near the Mahal Kali area. It’s a nice enough spot, though the roads can be a bit bumpy depending on the season. We have an office at unit 102. It’s a small space, but we make it work. Most of the time, the desk is covered in maps of the local farms and lists of what everyone is planting. We started this because the farmers in the Khandesh region needed a way to work together better. It’s been a bit of a learning curve for all of us. None of us are experts at running a company, but we know how to grow things. We spend a lot of time debating about fertilizers and what the rain is going to do. Sometimes we stay late into the evening just trying to get the books to balance. It’s a lot of pressure, but it feels better doing it as a group. We aren't looking to become some massive corporation. We just want the people in Ner and the rest of Dhule to have a fair shake. It’s a practical business, run by practical people who aren't afraid to get their hands dirty when the situation calls for it. The fan in the office makes a bit of a clicking sound but it keeps the air moving while we work through the piles of paperwork every day. It's tough work but someone has to do it.
