Shivdhul Farmers Producer Company Limited is located over at Ashok Vishnu Desle’s house in Vidya Nagar. That’s in Sakri, which is part of Dhule district. We aren't a big firm with a lot of employees. It’s mostly just us farmers from the local area coming together to see if we can make life a bit easier for everyone involved. Farming around here can be a real gamble sometimes, and having this company helps us feel a bit more secure. We use House No. 28 as our main spot to gather and talk things through. You’ll usually find someone there drinking tea and complaining about the latest prices or the cost of diesel. We don't have fancy mission statements or polished goals. We just want to be able to buy what we need for the farms and sell our produce for a price that lets us keep going. It’s a lot of manual work and late nights during harvest time. We’re just regular folks from Maharashtra who know how to work the land. We’ve seen good years and bad years, and we’re hoping that by sticking together, the bad years won't hit us quite as hard.
