We set up Panzrakan Farmers Producer Companylimited over here in Bhadane, Sakri. It is a local thing we started because we all farm in the Dhule area and it made sense to work together. Our office is at Plot No.2 in Prabhakarnagar. It’s not a fancy place, just a room where we meet to talk about the crops and how to handle the season. Most days you’ll find one of us there sitting on a plastic chair checking the registers. We deal with whatever the local farmers need, trying to get a better handle on the market prices which usually don't go our way. It is a bit of a struggle sometimes with the weather in these parts, but that is just how it is. We are mostly busy during the harvest time when everyone is bringing in their produce. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power goes out, so things move a bit slow, but we get the work done eventually. It’s just about getting the seeds and the fertilizer sorted and then hoping the rain comes at the right time. We've been at it for a while now and the locals know where to find us. It’s a lot of work but it is what we know.
