Our group is called Kansaimata Producercompany Limited and you can find us over in Jamda village, which is part of the Navapur taluka. Jatansing Deoram Valvi, who is the son of Deoram Valvi, is the person we usually coordinate through. If you are looking for us, we are right there in the 425418 area of Nandurbar. Life in the village is mostly about the land and what we can grow on it. We started this company because we wanted to have a bit more control over how we sell our produce. Dealing with the markets can be a real headache when you are just one person. Here in Jamda, we see each other every day anyway, so forming a producer company felt like a natural step for the local farmers. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It is just us talking to each other and figuring out what needs to be done next. The weather in Nandurbar can be tough sometimes, but we are used to it by now. We spend most of our time out in the fields or sitting around discussing the latest problems with the transport. It is simple work but it keeps us busy from morning until night. Sometimes things get disorganized, but we always find a way to get the job done. We are just local people trying to make a living from what the earth gives us. Everyone helps out and we share the work fairly.
