Haribasar Farmers Producer Company Limited. We operate out of Jagdish Ray’s place near the Dhulia Khalisadhulia Bazar. It’s a busy spot especially on market days when everyone is moving around. Our office is number 176. It’s basically just a room where we get together to figure out who is growing what and how we’re going to get it to the buyers. Being near the bazaar helps a lot with moving stuff. You can hear the noise from the market all day long. We’ve got a group of farmers from around here who all put their heads together. It’s not always easy to get everyone to agree on everything, but we make it work. Most days involve someone dropping by to talk about fertilizer prices or the weather. We keep our records in a few big folders and try to stay organized as much as possible. The building isn't much to look at but it serves its purpose for the company. We spend more time out at the different farms than we do sitting at a desk anyway. The soil around here is decent if you treat it right. We just try to help each other out so no one gets a bad deal. It’s a lot of manual work and late nights during the harvest time. We’re just a bunch of locals from the Dhulia area trying to keep our farms going and our families fed. It's honest work.
