Aai Kanushri Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group, Aai Kanushri Farmers Producer Company, is based at Shobha Hari Jadhav's place in Nimdale, which is over in Dhule. We are just a bunch of local farmers who wanted to do something together for a change. Farming on your own is getting harder every year with the prices and the weather, so we formed this company to share the load. It’s a very local effort. Most of us have lived in Nimdale our whole lives and we know every corner of these fields. The office is just a simple room at house number 396 where we handle the records and our weekly meetings. We don't have anything fancy or expensive. It’s all about the seeds, the soil, and the hard work it takes to get a crop to grow in this climate. We help each other with tools and give advice on what to plant each season based on what we see happening. Dhule can be a tough place for farming sometimes, but we stick together as a group. We don't use any big words to describe ourselves because we don't need them. We are just people who work with the earth and want to make sure our families are taken care of properly. If you visit us, you'll probably see us out working or sitting at Shobha's place discussing the latest prices at the market. It’s a real operation through and through.
