Sadguru Stone

Sadguru Stone is out on Bari Road, about four kilometers in, over in Sarmathura. This area is very famous for its stone, so there are a lot of other yards around here doing similar things. We just have our own spot where we handle the daily business. It is a lot of hard work. We are not a big company with a lot of different departments. Usually, it is just a few of us making sure the stone is loaded correctly and the orders are written down right. The road can be quite rough, and when it rains, everything gets muddy, which makes moving heavy stone a real pain for everyone. We have been here for a while and the locals know where to find us. We do not do any advertising. Most of our work comes from people who have bought from us before or saw our yard while driving towards Bari. Sarmathura is a place where you have to be tough because the work is very physical. We spend our time checking the stone blocks and slabs for any cracks or issues that might cause problems later. It is not an easy job, but it is what we know how to do. The office at the 4-kilometer mark is basic, just a place to sit and do the billing. We just try to keep the machines running and the stone moving out to the buyers.
