Drg Stone Industries

We've been here in Sarmathura Village for quite a while now. Drg Stone Industries is just near the petrol pump in the Baseri Tehsil area. It's a busy spot, especially with all the stone work going on around Dholpur District. Most days, you'll find us just getting on with things, making sure the stone is ready when it needs to be. We aren't a big fancy office or anything like that. Just a local setup where we know the people and they know us. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere, but that's just how it is working with stone in this part of the country. We've got our routine down. It isn't always quiet, but we like the work. Being close to the road helps with getting trucks in and out without too much fuss. People stop by when they’re passing the petrol pump sometimes just to check on orders. It's a straightforward way of doing things. We don't spend much time on paperwork if we can help it, preferring to be out where the actual work happens. The weather can be tough in Dholpur, really hot in the summer, but we just keep at it. We've seen a lot of changes in the village over the years, yet the stone business stays pretty much the same. It's solid work. We just try to stay busy and keep things moving along for whoever needs what we make here.
