Om Stone Industries

Our yard is situated on Bari Road in Sarmathura, and we are right near the DSP office. If you come by, you’ll see piles of stone everywhere because that’s what we do here at Om Stone Industries. This whole region is famous for its stone, and we’ve been part of the trade for a long time. It’s a very physical job. We spend our days out in the yard, moving heavy blocks and running the cutting saws. The air is always full of stone dust, and the noise is pretty loud when the blades are biting into the rock. We don't have a polished office or a showroom. If you want to see our stone, you just walk out into the yard and look at what’s been cut. It’s a simple operation, and we like it that way. We don't have a team of sales people or a fancy logo. Most of our customers are locals or builders who know we’ve been here for years. The work follows the sun—we start early when it’s cool and try to get the heavy lifting done before it gets too hot in the afternoon. It’s a tough way to make a living, but there’s something good about working with natural materials every day. We don't use any complicated systems. We just cut the stone, load the trucks, and keep the business moving forward as best as we can.
