Shri Channabasaveshwara Farmers Producer Company Limited

We operate out of Sunil S Dhanigond’s place in Basavangudi Colony, Hirehonnihalli. It is a quiet residential area in Hubli, far away from the big city noise. Most of our work involves the local farmers from around the 580020 area. We started this producer company to help everyone get a better handle on their farming business. Our office is basically just a room with some chairs and a cupboard full of files. We don't have fancy computers or a big staff. It is usually just a couple of us sitting around talking to people who drop by. We spend a lot of time visiting the fields to see how the crops are doing. Hubli is a good place for this kind of work because the community is very tight-knit. We talk about seeds, weather, and the market prices every single day. It is a slow and steady process and we don't try to rush things. Sometimes we have meetings under the shade of a tree if the office gets too hot. We don't really have a marketing team or anything like that. Word spreads by mouth around the colony and the neighboring villages. It is just honest work by people who have lived here their whole lives. We try to keep things organized but sometimes the paperwork piles up when we are out in the fields.
