Kundagola Farmers Producer Company Limited

Our group operates out of Kundagol, and you can find us at Mrutyunjaya S Patil’s place in the Dharwad district. We are all farmers from this area who wanted to find a better way to handle our business. Instead of everyone working separately, we came together as a producer company to make things a bit easier for the whole community. The office is not much to look at, just a functional space where we handle the paperwork and talk about the upcoming seasons. Being in Kundagol is very convenient because most of us live just a short distance away. We spend our mornings in the fields and then head over to the office when there is something to discuss or a load of grain to sort out. It is a very hands-on operation where everyone chips in. We do not have a fancy reception desk or people in suits. Usually, you will just find a few of us in our work clothes sitting around and checking the accounts. We talk a lot about the soil and which seeds are working best this year. It is a lot of hard work, but having this central spot helps us stay organized. We started this because we needed a place of our own to manage our harvests without relying on too many outsiders. It is just a straightforward local business run by people who actually grow the food.
