Sks Granites

If you drive down Sigaralahalli Road in Koorkampatty, you will find us at number 517. Sks Granites is basically a small operation. We handle a lot of different stones every day. The yard is usually full of trucks coming and going. It gets quite busy around here, especially in the mornings when we start loading the orders. Sometimes the weather makes things a bit difficult, but we manage to get through it. My father started this place, and now we just keep it running the same way he did. There is nothing fancy about our office or the way we do things. We just look at the granite, check for cracks, and make sure it is what people asked for. Koorkampatty is a quiet enough place except for the sound of the saws. We have a few guys who have been with us for years. They know exactly how to handle the heavy pieces without making a mess of things. It is heavy work, honestly. Your hands get rough and you’re tired by the end of the shift. But seeing a finished slab leave the yard feels okay. We don't spend money on big signs or anything like that. People just know we are here on Sigaralahalli Road. It’s just us doing what we know how to do with the stone we have available at the time. We stay focused on the work and don't worry about much else.
