Devi Granites & Abr Enterprises

Our place, Devi Granites & Abr Enterprises, sits right on the Main Road in Bargur, which is part of the Krishnagiri Taluk. If you know this region, you know it is famous for its rocks. Being on the Main Road means we see a lot of traffic passing by all day long. The noise of the trucks is something you just get used to after a while. We have been here at 16/14B for quite a few years. It’s a family-run kind of feel here. We don't wear suits or have a receptionist. Usually, you’ll find us out back near the stone slabs or sitting in the small office. The sun can be really strong in Krishnagiri, so we try to do the heaviest lifting early in the morning before it gets too hot. We deal with various types of granite that come from the local quarries nearby. There is always a lot of mud and stone chips around our feet. We don't have any polished speeches about what we do. We just show people what we have in the yard and tell them how much it costs. Sometimes we have to wait on the machines to be fixed or for a truck to show up, but that is just the way things go in this business. We are just local people working with the stone that comes from our own backyard, trying to keep things moving.
