Kurudbhoomi Farmers Producer Companylimited is based out of House No. 10 in Kosmarra village. We’re in the Bhakahra area of Kurud, not too far from Raipur. It’s a group of us local farmers who decided to team up a while back. Farming in Kosmarra has its ups and downs. Some years the rain is good, and some years it isn't, and you just have to deal with it. We just try to help each other out through the tough times. We aren't some big city company with a lot of money and fancy cars. We’re just people who know the soil here. Our meeting spot is a simple house in the village where we sit and talk. We spend a lot of time talking about fertilizers and where to sell our crops for a decent price. It’s a lot of manual labor and long days under the sun. We don't have any promotional stuff to show you. We just have our produce and our word, which means something here. Instead of being on our own, we do things together now. It’s a practical way to survive these days when everything is getting more expensive. We’ve lived here all our lives, so we know the land better than anyone else. We spend our evenings checking the equipment and making sure the storage is dry. We aren't looking for anything more than a fair price for what we grow.
