Dhamtari Kisanvikas Farmers Producer Company Limited is based at House Number 26/K on Sadar Road, right near the Nahar Naka Chowk. We are a local group made up of farmers from around the area. This place is always busy with people coming and going from the market. We chose this spot because it's easy for everyone to reach. Our company isn't about being big or famous. We just wanted a way to manage our crops better. When we sell our stuff together, we have a bit more say in what happens. It was a lot of work to get this started. We had to learn about rules and paperwork that we never had to deal with before. Sometimes it feels like more work than the actual farming. But it is worth it because we are helping each other. We meet at the office to discuss things like new seeds or how to fix the old tractors. There is no boss here in the way you might think. We all have a say because it's our money and our work. We live here in Dhamtari and we want to see our community do well. It’s a simple life and a simple business. We don't use fancy talk. We just tell it like it is. If the crop is good, we are happy. If it’s bad, we figure out how to get through it together. That is just our way of doing things here.
