We operate out of Hukam Laxmansingh’s place in Panjariya. It is located in Bagli, which is part of the Dewas district. Our name is a bit long, Dewas Bagli Samradh Hariyali Mahilakisan Aajivika Producer Company Limited, but we are just a group of women farmers from this area. We came together because it seemed like the right thing to do for our families and our village. Panjariya is a small place, and everyone knows everyone else. We don't have a big corporate headquarters. We just gather where we can and talk about our crops and our work. It is mostly about livelihood and making sure we can support ourselves. Most of us have been farming our whole lives. We know what it is like when the rains are late or the soil is dry. We try to share what we know and help each other out. There isn't any fancy management here. We just make decisions together based on what we need. Life in Bagli is steady and we work hard. It is just honest work done by people who care about their community. We are proud of what we do here and we keep moving forward together.
