If you head over to the Sannod area in Dewas, you will find us near the Double Chouki spot. Our place is listed as C/O Badrilal Salagram Helpersannod, and it’s right in the middle of where the action happens for the local farmers. Abhaysheel Farmers Producer Companylimited is the name we use, but most people around here just know us by our faces. Dewas is a place where you can’t really escape the farming life even if you wanted to. The dirt gets everywhere, and the air smells like the fields most of the year. We have a lot of work to do every season, from getting the ground ready to making sure the crops actually make it to the market. We aren't doing anything world-changing, just trying to make sure the farmers in our little corner of Sannod get a fair shake. It’s a lot of sitting around the table and talking about rain or the lack of it. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit in the dark and keep talking anyway. We have some help from the people at the local Chouki and it’s a real community thing. We don’t have a website or anything like that, just a door that stays open most of the day for anyone who needs to settle some business or just wants to see how things are going with the collective.
