Ziya Morocine Cafe

We are over in Sector-35-C in Chandigarh. The cafe is called Ziya Morocine and we're located at the Purple Rice site, specifically number 468 E. It’s a pretty busy part of town with a lot of people walking around and shops everywhere you look. We started this because we wanted a local spot where people could just come and have a bite to eat. It’s not some high-end restaurant where you have to dress up. We have basic tables and chairs and we try our best to keep everything clean and tidy. The kitchen is always busy with something. We get a mix of students from nearby and office workers since Chandigarh 160035 is such a lively area for business. We don’t have a big corporate office tucked away somewhere else. It’s just us here on the floor and in the back kitchen. Sometimes we run out of certain ingredients or the music is a little bit too loud, but that’s just the way the cafe feels. We really like the local atmosphere of Sector-35. It feels like a real community here. We aren't doing any big advertising or posters. Most people just find us by walking past or hearing about the place from a friend. We try to keep the whole atmosphere relaxed and easy. If you come by, you’ll probably see the same few faces working every day. We just want to serve some decent food and have a place that feels comfortable for the neighborhood.
