Heritage India Journey

You can find us over at Rzf 222/22 in Palam Colony. Heritage India Journey is what we call the business, and mostly we just spend our time looking at maps and booking things for people who want to see different parts of the country. The office is tucked away, and it’s usually filled with the sound of someone typing or talking on a mobile phone to a driver. It gets a bit dusty being near the main road in Palam Colony, so we are always wiping down the desks. We have a few posters of mountains and old forts on the walls to make it look the part. Some days are slow, and we just sit and talk about where we’d like to go ourselves, but other days are a complete mess with last-minute changes and people calling about late trains. We don’t have a big corporate team, just a few of us who know our way around a schedule. We try to keep things simple and honest when people ask about prices or travel times. It’s a lot of coordination, really. We spend a good chunk of our day just making sure the itineraries make sense and that the drivers know where they are going. It’s not glamorous, and the traffic outside can be a real headache, but we like being in this neighborhood and getting to know the locals who stop by for a chat.
