Our office is located at 108 on the first floor of the GD-ITL Twin Tower in Netaji Subhash Place. It is one of those busy buildings where everyone is always in a rush to get to the elevator. Inside our space, things are a bit more relaxed, though we do stay busy with the phones. We spend our time putting together travel plans for people who want to go on excursions. It involves a lot of looking at different routes and checking what the current rates are for hotels and transport. We have brochures stacked up on the shelves, though most things are done on the computer these days. The office gets a bit messy with notes and coffee cups everywhere. We aren't a giant company with hundreds of people, just a small team working out of this building. We talk to vendors, negotiate a bit, and try to make sure the itinerary makes sense. Sometimes we have to stay late to talk to someone in a different time zone. It is a lot of coordination and making sure all the small details like pick-up times are written down correctly. We don't use a lot of fancy talk, we just tell people what is available and what it will cost. It is a straightforward way of working in a very busy part of Delhi where everything moves fast.
