Zavery Pearls

Zavery Pearls is located over at P 1/74/2 in the W.A.C Quarter area of New Delhi. It’s a bit of a specific location, not really where you’d find a big shopping mall. We’ve been working with pearls and jewelry items here for a good while. Our workspace is pretty functional. We have benches where we look at the stock and handle the orders. It’s a bit of a tight space because we have a lot of small boxes and supplies everywhere. The lighting has to be good, so we have a few extra lamps around. It’s not a retail shop where people just walk in off the street all day long. Most of our work is about sorting and getting things ready for customers who know us already. We spend a lot of time checking the quality of what comes in. The W.A.C Quarter is a relatively quiet neighborhood, which helps us focus on the delicate work we do. We usually have the radio on in the background while we work. Some days are just about cleaning and organizing the inventory. It’s a bit dusty sometimes, but we try to keep the jewelry parts clean. We are just a small team. There’s no big corporate hierarchy here. We all just pitch in with whatever needs doing, whether it’s answering the phone or packing a shipment. It’s a very hands-on kind of job and we like the routine of it every day.
