Ysf Hotel & Resort New Delhi As Asst. Manager (Operation)

I’m working out of Flat No. 306 in the Esteem Complex. It’s a residential building in Savitri Nagar, block C-208/A-6. It’s not a big hotel building itself, but this is where the operations part happens for Ysf Hotel & Resort. I’m the assistant manager for operations, so I spend a lot of time on the phone or looking at schedules on my laptop. The flat is a bit small for an office, but it works for what we need. Savitri Nagar is a crowded place, and finding parking for my scooter is always a headache. The stairs in the complex are a bit narrow too. I have a small desk near the window so I can see what’s going on outside. There’s a lot of noise from the street vendors and cars, but you get used to it after a week. My neighbors know me and sometimes they bring over snacks. It’s a very local feel. I handle the day-to-day stuff like fixing schedules or calling suppliers. It’s not glamorous work, and I don’t wear a uniform when I’m here. Just a plain shirt and trousers. We don't have a fancy lobby here because it's just an apartment turned into a workspace. It’s practical and keeps the costs down. We just focus on getting the work done so the guests at the actual resort are happy. It is a busy life in New Delhi, but we manage somehow.
