Yo China

Our place, Yo China, is tucked away in Gali No. 6 in Mandawali. The exact address is 609/63, and if you know this part of Delhi, you know the streets are pretty narrow and can get quite crowded, especially in the evenings. It’s a lively spot though. There is always someone shouting or a bike honking right outside. We spend most of our time in the kitchen or at the front counter. It’s not a massive restaurant with fancy chairs, just a local spot where we cook and pack things up. The heat from the stoves makes it pretty warm in here during the summer, but we have the fans going all the time. Mandawali is a tight-knit place, and we see the same faces almost every day. We’ve got our routine down, from opening the shutters in the morning to cleaning up the floors late at night. Sometimes the delivery guys are waiting around and we all just chat about the traffic. It’s a simple setup at 609/63, and we don't have a big team or anything, just a few of us making sure the food gets out. We’ve been in this gali for a good amount of time now. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things moving in this busy neighborhood. We try to keep the spices sorted and the orders moving fast so everyone stays happy with their meal.
