Ymca Tourist Hotel

Our place is over in Dakshin Puri, specifically at House No. 1/169 in Dr. Ambedkar Nagar. It is a bit of a walk from the main road, but that makes it a little quieter than the rest of New Delhi. We have been running this hotel for a while now. The building is a regular house that we turned into a place for people to stay. It isn't a luxury spot with a swimming pool or anything like that. We mostly have rooms with basic beds and fans. We spend a lot of our time making sure the sheets are clean and the water is running in the bathrooms. Sometimes the plumbing acts up, and we have to call the guy from down the street to come fix it quickly. We see all kinds of people here at Ymca Tourist Hotel. Some are just passing through for a night, and others stay for a week because they have work in the city. We sit near the entrance to help people when they arrive. There is always a bit of dust because of the construction nearby, so we are always sweeping. We don't have a big staff. It is mostly just us doing the chores and checking people in. It is a simple life, really. We try to keep things honest and make sure everyone has a place to sleep that doesn't cost them too much money.
