Ymca, New Delhi

We are Ymca, New Delhi, but our office is actually at T-27, Sector 12 in Noida-201301. It’s a bit confusing with the name saying New Delhi, but Noida is where we sit. The building is a standard one for Sector 12. We have been here for a bit. It’s a decent area, lots of trees around. Inside, it’s just a normal setup. We have some meeting rooms and some office space. We do a lot of community work and organizing. People come in and out all day long. It gets pretty busy in the afternoons. We have a lot of old folders and posters on the walls. It’s not a fancy place, just a working office. We try to keep the tea pot going for visitors. The staff here has been around for a long time. We know the local people in Sector 12. Even though the name is Ymca, New Delhi, this Noida spot is our home base. We handle all the calls and the planning from these desks. Sometimes the internet is slow, and we just have to wait. It’s a very human place. We don't have corporate rules about how to talk or anything. We just help out where we can. T-27 is where the work happens. It’s a simple building for simple work. We are just glad to be part of the neighborhood here in Noida. There's a park nearby where we sometimes go for a quick walk during lunch.
