Our little spot is located at F-107 in Lajpat Nagar II, which is a place that never really stays quiet. If you know New Delhi, you know how busy this area gets with shoppers and traffic. We are right in the middle of it all, tucked away in our office where we handle all the travel plans. The walls are covered with some old posters of different cities, and our desks are usually covered in printouts and notebooks. It’s a bit of a squeeze when everyone is in at the same time, but we make it work. We spend a lot of time on the phone, talking to people about where they want to go and trying to find the right timings for their trips. It’s mostly just us three or four people sitting around computers. We don't have a big reception desk or uniform; we just wear what is comfortable for the weather. The morning starts with clearing off the dust that seems to get everywhere in this city. Then we start the kettle. We deal with all sorts of travelers, from families to people traveling for work. It is a lot of checking schedules and confirming details over and over again. We like being in Lajpat Nagar because everything we need is just a short walk away. It feels like a real community here, even with all the noise outside our door.
