Kirti Nagar is famous for furniture, but we’re here at I-50 doing something different. This is the Delhi office for Yatra.Com. It’s a big, busy city and our neighborhood is no exception. There’s always trucks and noise outside. Inside, it’s mostly just rows of desks and people on headsets. We spend our whole day looking at flights and hotels on our screens. It’s not like the travel photos you see in magazines. It’s mostly just data and phone calls. We don’t have any fancy mission statements plastered on the walls. It’s just a workplace. Sometimes the air conditioning struggles when it gets really hot in June, but we make do with it. We drink a lot of water and try to keep up with all the requests coming in. It’s a bit of a grind, to be honest. But it’s what we do. We aren't trying to sound like a big corporate machine, even though we handle a lot of business. At the end of the day, we’re just people in an office trying to help other people get where they’re going. The floors are a bit scuffed and the breakroom is small, but it works for us. We just keep plugging away at it, day after day, in this little corner of New Delhi. We've been here for years and it's just our normal routine now.
