Our office is tucked away in Sector 22, right in the Housing Board Colony of Faridabad. It’s building number 217. It’s a residential-feeling area, so it doesn’t feel like a big corporate park or anything like that. We are at Yatra.Com, and mostly we just spend our hours staring at computer screens and answering the phones. People call in all the time asking about trains or flights. Sometimes the internet is slow and we have to tell people to wait a second while the page loads. It can be a bit frustrating but we get through it. The N.I.T Faridabad area is pretty busy, so there’s always noise coming from outside. We usually have tea brought in around eleven in the morning. That’s the best part of the day, honestly. We don’t have fancy furniture, just some old desks and chairs that have been here for years. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze when everyone is in the office at the same time. We handle a lot of bookings and cancellations every single day. It’s mostly just data entry and talking to customers. We aren’t trying to be anything we’re not. It’s just a workplace where we try to help folks get their travel sorted out without too much fuss. We’ve got stacks of paper everywhere and the printer makes a loud clicking sound. It’s just a normal office in a normal Faridabad neighborhood where we do our daily work.
