Out here in Devli Extension at A-128, we have our office setup. It is a bit of a walk from the main transport hubs, but we are used to it. The space is filled with desks and people wearing headsets most of the time. We are constantly looking at screens, trying to find the right prices for tickets or making sure someone’s hotel is actually booked. The internet is our lifeline, and when it goes slow, everyone gets a bit frustrated. We have piles of paper on our desks even though most of the work is digital. In the afternoons, the sun hits the front windows quite hard, so we have to pull the curtains. We take turns going out for lunch at the little stalls nearby. It is a lot of typing and talking to people who are usually in a hurry. We don't have any polished speeches about travel; we just try to get the work done without any errors. The neighborhood around 110062 is a mix of houses and small shops, so it feels like a very normal place to work. Sometimes we stay late when there is a big rush of bookings, and the office gets a bit messy with empty tea cups. We are just a group of people sitting in an office in New Delhi, trying to keep up with all the clicks and calls. It is mostly just answering phones and typing.
