You can find us over on Kalindi Kunj Road in Okhla, which is a pretty industrial part of New Delhi. Our office at D-24 isn't much to look at from the outside. Inside, it's full of people on headsets and typing away on their laptops. Okhla is always dusty and the traffic on the main road is usually at a standstill. We spend our days helping people figure out their travel plans. It’s a lot of screen time and talking. Sometimes the tea man comes by with a tray of small glasses, and that's the highlight of the morning. We have some posters of different cities on the walls, but they are a bit faded now. The air is always a bit thick with the smell of the city. We don't have a corporate cafeteria, so we usually just eat at our desks or go to the small stalls nearby. It’s a fast-paced environment because people are always in a hurry to book things. We've been in this building for quite a while. The elevators are slow, so most of us just take the stairs. It’s not the most glamorous side of the travel business, but it's where the real work happens. We just keep our heads down and try to get through the daily list of bookings. There's always someone arguing about a flight or asking for a refund. It's just a regular office life in a busy part of Delhi.
