Xpress Logistics

Down on Devoli Road in Khanpur, you’ll find our place, Xpress Logistics. We’re located at E-11, Krishna Park. It’s a busy part of New Delhi and the road outside is almost always blocked with cars and rickshaws. Our warehouse space is usually full of boxes of all shapes and sizes. We spend most of our shift loading and unloading trucks or trying to find a package that just arrived. It’s dusty work and can get pretty hot in the afternoons. We aren't a massive corporate shipping center; we’re more of a local hub where things get sorted and sent back out to the city. The walls could use a fresh coat of paint and the computer is a bit slow, but it gets the job done. We have a few drivers who are always coming and going, so there’s constant noise and shouting over the engines. We don't use a lot of fancy tracking software, mostly just paper logs and signatures. It’s practical work. If something needs to get across the city, we figure out a way to do it. Dealing with the Delhi traffic is probably the hardest part of the job, but we’ve been doing it long enough to know the shortcuts. It’s just a small team here trying to keep the deliveries moving for everyone who needs them. We just show up, do the work, and then head home.
