Our office is on the ground floor of B 70 in Okhla I. Being on the ground floor is quite helpful because we don't have to lug heavy equipment up any stairs. The space is a bit tight sometimes, especially when we have a lot of new stock or paper rolls delivered. The air inside usually has that specific smell of ink and warm electronics that comes with digital work. We have several large printers and a row of computers where the main work happens. There isn't a fancy lobby or a front desk with a receptionist. When you walk in, you are pretty much standing right where the action is. We have wires and cables running along the baseboards and boxes of supplies stacked up wherever they will fit. It’s a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. Most of our day involves sitting in front of screens or checking the print quality of the latest batch. We take our breaks at the little tea stalls nearby or just eat a quick snack at our desks if we are busy. Okhla is a noisy, crowded part of Delhi, but there is a lot of business happening all around us. We have been in this building for a while and we get along well with the other tenants. It’s a practical setup that works for the kind of digital work we do every day.
