Our office is tucked away in South Anarkali, right in the Krishna Nagar area of Delhi. We have been at 73 B for quite some time now, helping people figure out where they want to go and how to get there. It is a local travel spot, so we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. Most days are spent looking at flight schedules or trying to find a decent hotel for someone’s family trip. The space is small and can get a bit crowded when a few people show up at once. There are maps on the wall and stacks of papers on the desks, which is just how it goes in a travel business. Krishna Nagar is always noisy and full of life, and our street is no different. We drink a lot of tea while we work through the bookings. Sometimes a booking takes five minutes, other times we are on the phone for an hour trying to fix a mistake. We do not use a lot of fancy software, just the usual stuff that works. It is a straightforward operation here. We like being in this part of town because everyone knows everyone else. If the printers are acting up, we just deal with it and move on. It is honest work, and we try to make sure people get their tickets without too much trouble. We stay open until the evening to catch people after work.
