Located at 215, Satya Niketan, our office is in a lively spot. This part of New Delhi is always full of energy because of all the students from the nearby colleges. Our building is right in the middle of it. We are a BPO, which means the headsets stay on for most of the shift. It is a lot of talking and typing at the same time. The building itself isn't anything special, just a place where we get the work done. Inside, it is rows of desks and the sound of people explaining things over the phone to customers. We work odd hours sometimes, depending on who we are helping at that moment. Satya Niketan has great food stalls, so our break times are usually the best part of the whole day. You will see us grabbing a quick snack or a coffee before heading back to the phones. We are not doing high-level strategy; we are just solving problems one call at a time. Sometimes the air conditioning is too cold in the office, and we all wear sweaters even when it is boiling hot outside. It is a fast-paced environment, and the turnover is high because of all the youngsters, but the core team stays pretty steady. We just keep our heads down and handle the tasks as they come in. It is a lot of repetitive work, but we find ways to make it through the day together.
