Our office is located over in Govind Puri Extension, specifically at 1693/3 in the Kalka Ji area of New Delhi-19. It is a pretty packed neighborhood, and you can always hear the sound of the city right outside our windows. Most of us here spend our whole shifts on the phones or sitting at computers doing the BPO work that needs to get finished. Because it is a 24-hour operation, the office never really feels empty. People are coming in for their shifts at all sorts of odd hours, especially during the night when the rest of Delhi is starting to quiet down. The building we are in is just a regular office setup, nothing too special to look at, but it works for what we need. Parking around here in Kalka Ji is a real headache most days, which is something we all complain about over our tea breaks. We have our desks, our headsets, and a small area to eat our lunch. The area outside is full of local shops and little food stalls, so there is always somewhere to grab a quick samosa or a cold drink when we get a few minutes away from the screens. It is a fast-paced kind of job, and there is always a queue of things to handle. We just show up, do our hours, and try to make the best of it.
