Wilco Shipmanagement & Travels Pvt. Ltd. is run from Chunkathil House. You can find us in Neerattupuram, which is in the Allapuzha district of Kerala. This is the home of Mr. T.M. Thomas and we work from here. It's a very different vibe than an office in a big city. We are surrounded by the greenery of Kerala. Most of our work is managing ships and travel arrangements. It sounds like a lot, but we handle it from our desks right here in the house. The atmosphere is quiet, mostly just the sound of the birds and the occasional vehicle passing by. We have our computers and files set up in a dedicated room. Dealing with ships means we are often on the phone with people from all over. Even though we are in a rural part of Allapuzha, we stay busy with international work. We don't have a formal reception area. If you come by, you’re basically visiting a home. We’ve been doing this for a long time. The paperwork for ship management is endless, so we spend a lot of time at our desks. Sometimes we take breaks to walk in the garden. It’s a family-run feel. We don't use big fancy software, just the stuff that works. It’s a simple way of life and a simple way of working for Wilco. We make sure to keep our records updated every evening before we close up for the night.
