Waves Restaurant

We are located right on the ground floor over at Sarvodya Enclave. If you know the Aurobindo Marg area, you probably know where A-4 is. It’s a nice little spot, and we’ve tried to make it comfortable for anyone who walks in. The kitchen is always busy, especially in the evenings when the neighborhood gets lively. We aren't trying to be one of those five-star places with tiny portions. We just serve food that people like to eat. The tables are standard wood, and sometimes we have to squeeze a few extra chairs in when a big family shows up. Our staff mostly lives nearby, so they know the regulars by name. It can get a bit loud when the place is full, but that’s just how a restaurant should be, I think. We spend a lot of time cleaning and making sure things are ready for the next shift. It’s hard work being on your feet all day, but we like the pace. The front door catches the light in the afternoon. We don't have a massive menu, just the things we know we can make well every day. It’s just us, some good ingredients, and a lot of cooking. There is always a stack of napkins to fold or menus to wipe down. We don't have any fancy uniforms, just our aprons and a focus on getting the plates out hot and on time.
