Down in Jalam Muhalla, specifically at House Number 192 A, is where we’ve set up shop. It’s a part of New Delhi that feels very lived-in, with narrow lanes and houses built right up against each other. This isn't one of those big, shiny glass offices you see in the advertisements. It’s a simple space inside a residential area, which makes it feel a bit more personal, I suppose. The pincode is 110044, and we’ve been operating from here for a while now. Dealing with all the paperwork and the customers can be a lot, especially when the room gets warm in the middle of summer. We have a few desks squeezed in and some old filing cabinets that have seen better days. You can hear the sounds of the neighborhood all day—kids playing in the street, vendors shouting, and the occasional motorbike zooming past. It’s a bit of a squeeze when more than two or three people show up at once. We don't really do the whole corporate polish thing here; we just focus on the tasks at hand. Sometimes the phone lines are a bit finicky, and we have to step out into the alley to get a better signal. It’s a very local way of working, being right there in the heart of the muhalla. We know the local shopkeepers and usually get our tea from the same guy every afternoon. It’s just our daily reality at 192 A.
