The office sits at Jd18/B1 in the Khiri Extension area. It is part of Malviya Nagar in New Delhi-110017. Working for Vodafone from this spot is a bit different than being in a big tower. The lanes around here are quite narrow, so finding a place to park a scooter is always a puzzle. We have a small room where most of our work happens. It has a few computers and a lot of different cable samples lying around on the shelves. The light inside is a bit dim, but we have some desk lamps that help us see better. There is a tea stall just a few steps away where we go when we need a break from the computer screens. Khiri Extension is a very busy place with a lot of people living nearby. You can hear the vegetable sellers calling out their prices in the morning and motorcycles zooming past the door. We are not in a fancy high-rise; we are just in this regular building. The walls have a few scuffs and the floor is a bit worn out from all the walking we do. We spend our time checking connections and making sure the records are right. It is a very hands-on kind of place to work. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the walls. It is just us doing our daily rounds and making sure the work is finished.
