Vodafone

We are set up in House No.12 along the B.C.C. Line in Kota. This part of Rajasthan gets incredibly hot in the summer, so we keep the fans going all day long. It’s an old house that we use for the Vodafone operations here. It doesn't look like a big corporate office from the outside, just a regular building in the GE (MES) area. We have a few rooms filled with equipment and desks. People from the neighborhood often stop by with questions about their phones or their bills. We do what we can to help them out without making it too complicated. The floors are stone and stay a bit cooler than the air. There's a small yard out front where we park our scooters. Sometimes the monkeys come by and sit on the roof, which can be a bit of a distraction for us. We've been at this location for a while now, so most people in 324001 know where to find us. It’s a quiet enough street compared to the main roads in town. We keep things pretty simple here. No big signs or fancy lights, just the work we do every day. Dealing with signal issues or sim cards is what fills our time. It’s a steady pace and we like the people we work with. Most of us are locals from Kota anyway. We just keep the place running and try to stay cool in the heat.
