Vodafone Essar Ltd has this small office at Room No. 12, L/36 on Old Rangpuri Road. It is located in the Mahipalpur Extension area of New Delhi. If you know Mahipalpur, you know it’s always moving and can be quite loud with all the traffic. This room is just one of many in the building, and there is nothing fancy about it. Old desks and chairs are scattered around, and the usual office stuff is piled up here and there. It’s where we sit and handle whatever comes our way during the day. Since the building itself is a bit older, the stairs are narrow and it can get a little stuffy in the afternoons. Leaving the window open helps us get some air, even if the noise from Old Rangpuri Road comes inside. It’s just a regular workspace for regular people. There is no big reception area or anyone to greet you at the door. You just walk in and find us working. Being here for a while has made the location feel convenient for getting around this part of the city. Decor isn't something we put much thought into; focusing on getting the tasks finished is more important. A small shop downstairs is where we get our snacks. It’s a very ordinary place, but it serves us well for what we need to do.
