Vision Holidays

Vision Holidays operates out of Sattar Colony in the Bariatu area of Ranchi. It’s not a huge operation, just a small office where we handle travel plans and bookings for folks around here. Most of our days are spent looking at maps and checking prices on different screens. Jharkhand can get pretty dusty, so we’re always wiping down the desks to keep the computers clean. We have a few chairs for people to sit while they tell us where they want to go for their summer break. Usually, it’s families looking for a trip or someone needing to get a train ticket sorted. We’ve got a big calendar on the wall that’s covered in scribbles and notes. The neighborhood is fairly busy, so there’s always the sound of horns and people talking outside the door. We don’t have any big signs or fancy decorations, just the basic stuff we need to work. Sometimes we get busy and the phone won’t stop ringing, and other times it’s so quiet we end up talking about what to have for dinner. We know the local shops around Sattar Colony well because that’s where we get our snacks. It’s a simple business run by people who live right here in Ranchi. We just try to get the details right so people don’t have problems when they’re far from home.
