We’re tucked away in Vinodpuri at C-1/28. It’s part of the Vijay Enclave area here in New Delhi. Mostly, what we do is look at papers and forms all day. People come to us when they need to get their visas sorted out for travel. It’s a lot of forms, checking dates, and making sure all the stamps are in the right place. The office is usually filled with stacks of folders and people sitting and waiting their turn. It’s not the most exciting job in the world, but it’s what we do. We’ve seen all kinds of passports and travel plans pass through this desk over the years. Sometimes the rules change without much notice and we have to figure it out on the fly. We try to be helpful because we know how stressful traveling and paperwork can be for everyone. The space isn't huge, so it can get a bit cramped when it's busy in the afternoons. We just keep our heads down and work through the pile of applications. If you're looking for the place, look for the sign near Vijay Enclave. It’s a quiet enough street most days, except when the school nearby lets out. We don't have a big team, just a few of us who know the process well. We spend a lot of time on the phone with various offices and checking updates online. It’s just a regular service shop for people trying to go abroad. We open early and stay until the last form is finished.
