Vinod Telecom

Vinod Telecom is situated at E 437 in the Govindpuri Janta Jiwan Camp. This part of Govindpuri is always full of life, with kids playing in the lanes and people constantly moving about. Our shop is just a small room really, packed with all sorts of things related to mobile phones. We have been at E 437 for a long time, and the building is starting to show its age, but it’s home for us. Every morning, I set out the display items and make sure everything is in order. It’s a lot of work for one or two people, but we don't mind it. The Janta Jiwan Camp has a real sense of being a neighborhood, so we know most of the people who walk past our door. Sometimes they don't even need anything; they just stop to say hello or ask about the weather. We have a small television in the corner that is usually tuned to the news, providing a bit of background noise while we work. It gets quite warm in the summer months, so we keep the door open to catch whatever breeze there is. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything. We just open the shop, do what needs to be done, and go home at the end of the day. It is a simple way to live and work in this busy part of the city. We are here at our post.
