Vinatge Tours & Travels

I run this small travel setup out of Sharda Puri in Ramesh Nagar. It is a busy little office, mostly filled with maps and old registers. Being in the tour and travel business in New Delhi means you spend half your life stuck in traffic or on the phone trying to find out where a driver is. I started this because I liked the idea of helping people get to where they need to go without too much trouble. We do a lot of airport drops and local sightseeing trips for people visiting the city. Ramesh Nagar is a good base because it is central enough, but the roads around here can be a real mess in the evenings. My desk is usually covered in papers and keys. I have a couple of drivers who have been with me for years, and we just try to do right by the people who call us. It is not always smooth sailing; cars break down or customers change their minds at the last minute. You just have to learn to roll with it. I drink a lot of chai throughout the day while waiting for the next booking to come in. It is a lot of responsibility making sure everyone gets home safe, but I have gotten used to the stress over the years. We just keep things simple and try to be honest about the timing and the costs. It is a local business through and through, and we stay busy.
