Vikram Hotal

Down here at C-175 Delta 1St in Greater Noida, things are usually a bit quieter than the main parts of Delhi, but we still stay pretty busy. We run Vikram Hotal, and it’s basically just about keeping the rooms ready and making sure people have a decent place to stay when they come through this part of town. Running a hotel isn’t as easy as it looks on the outside. There is always something that needs fixing or a room that needs a quick turn-over because someone is arriving early. We spend a lot of time making sure the linens are clean and the staff knows what they are doing for the day. Greater Noida is growing fast, so we see a lot of different people coming in for work or just passing through. It’s a straightforward setup we have here. We don’t have fancy lobby music or anything like that, just a clean space and a front desk that usually has someone sitting there ready to help. Sometimes the power goes out or the water heater acts up, and we just have to get it fixed right away. It’s just the daily life of running a local business. We keep it simple and focus on the basics like a good bed and a functioning bathroom. It’s just a regular place for regular people looking for a spot to sleep while they are away from home. No frills, just rooms and a bit of help.
