If you find yourself near Delhi Gate, we are located in the area they call Hundred Qyartrs, at 69/100. It’s a bit of a maze back here sometimes, but once you find the spot, it’s easy to remember. We’ve been running Vikas Telecom from this little corner for a good bit now. Mostly we just deal with recharges and basic phone repairs. The shop isn't very large, so we try to keep things tucked away in the drawers. It gets quite dusty because of the construction nearby, so we are always wiping down the glass counters. My brother helps out sometimes when it gets too busy, but usually, it’s just one or two of us here. We don’t have a big sign or anything fancy, just the name above the door. People usually stop in because they live nearby or they’re walking to the station. We’ve got a small television that stays on the news most of the day, mostly for background noise. The chairs for customers are old, but they work fine. We don’t try to do anything too complicated here. We just handle the phones and the SIM cards and whatever else people need help with. It’s a steady way to spend the day. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door, but we just put a bucket there. We have a fan that rattles quite a bit, but it keeps the air moving.
