Our office is actually inside Meditech Apartment, House No 701, in Sector-56 Gurgaon. It is a bit different than a normal commercial office since it is located in a residential building. It feels a bit more like a home, which has its pros and cons. We go up the elevator every morning and get to work in plot number 59. The view from the window is mostly other apartment buildings and the busy streets of Gurgaon down below. Dealing with hospitality stuff from an apartment means we are always thinking about space and how to keep things comfortable for the people we help. We spend a lot of time on our laptops and taking calls from people who need a place to stay or help with their own properties. It is not a big corporate floor with hundreds of people, just a small team of us sitting around a couple of tables. Sometimes we have to run out quickly to meet someone at another property nearby. The neighborhood is quiet enough, though you always hear some construction going on somewhere in Sector-56. We keep some tea and snacks in the small kitchen area for when we get tired in the afternoon. It is a straightforward job. We do not use a lot of fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the rooms are ready and the guests are sorted. It is a lot of mundane tasks like checking lists.
