Vatika Hospitality (56 The Italian Adventure)

You wouldn't expect an Italian place here in Buxar, especially inside an industrial area. Vatika Hospitality (56 The Italian Adventure) is located at Suraj Cold Storage. It’s a bit of an adventure just getting here. Kamala Kant Singh runs things and we mostly focus on the food and making sure the cold storage is working right for the supplies. It is a bit dusty outside because of the trucks. Inside, it looks a bit different from the outside. Bihar isn't exactly the place you think of for pasta, but we’ve been doing it. The kitchen gets really hot in the summer months. We don't have a big fancy entrance. You just find the industrial area in Ahirouli and look for us. Most of our staff are local guys who learned how to cook things they never ate growing up. It’s funny how that works. We don't do big advertisements. People just hear about us and show up. Sometimes we run out of specific ingredients because the delivery from the city takes too long. We just make do with what we have. It’s a simple life here. We aren't trying to be some five-star place. We are just a hospitality business in a cold storage building. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy every day. We enjoy the strange quiet of the industrial area at night. It is a long way from Italy, but we try.
